Today's Football Transfer News Update


Manchester City are reportedly weighing up a move for Arsenal full-back Bacary Sagna.

Manchester United plan to pay Wanye Rooney £300k per week and make him captain in their latest attempt to keep him at the club.

Mohamed Salah has completed his £11m move from Basel to Chelsea.

Everton's Leighton Baines has signed a new contract with the club, ending reports of the full-back's possible move away from Goodison Park.

The FA Cup has handed nightmare draws to Manchester City and Arsenal, who play Chelsea and Liverpool, before facing Barcelona and Bayern Munich just days later. 

After landing Juan Mata for £37m, Yohan Cabaye and Luke Shaw are next on David Moyes's transfer wish list.

Arsenal have a daunting set of fixtures coming up, where they will play Liverpool twice, Manchester United and Bayern Munich in 12 days that could define their season. 

New Manchester United signing Juan Mata has stated that his move from Chelsea to United came as a surprise, but he also stated that he now wants to win the league with the Red Devils.

Jose Mourinho has admitted his regret at not being able to fit Spaniard Juan Mata into his system at Chelsea.

Paolo Di Canio has criticised his former Sunderland players, branding his former captain John O' Shea as 'two-faced'.
