Can You Believe The Reason Why This Soldier Shoots His Colleague, Tricyclist To Death

There was chaos in Agbado area  of Ifo Local Government Area, Ogun State, yesterday, after a trigger-happy soldier shot his colleague and a 32-year-old  tricycle rider, Sunday Samuel to death.

According to an eyewitness trouble started at 10 a.m. when some soldiers stormed  tricycles park in Agbado, a border town between Ogun and Lagos states, demanding money from the operators which led to an argument.

The trigger-happy corporal (names withheld) was said to have shot Samuel of  Owonikoko Street, Agbado area dead following his alleged refusal to pay.

He did not stop there killer-soldier also reportedly shot  his colleague who challenged him over the killing  of the tricyclist because of his refusal to give them money.

It was learnt that the soldier took the corpse of his colleague  in a bus and fled while leaving Samuel’s corpse at the scene.

The state Police Public Relations  Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, who confirmed the incident said that it investigations have begun and its being handled by Ogun and Lagos States commands.

He said: “The soldiers involved in the incident have been arrested and normalcy has returned to the place.

“I can confirm that the incident happened. But, Lagos  and Ogun states commands are handling the matter. We have begun investigation and we will fish out the perpetrators of the act.”
